Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist actor, actress and musician. Her main work is as musician and performer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam In Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. Andrea is the youngest daughter of a research assistant Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai went to National Public School. He has graduated from Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was quite a geek and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea started playing the piano classically when she was just eight. At age 10 she was involved in the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. In addition, she performed as professional theatre performers in the university. Then she was an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began with the Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a new leo advertisement alongside actor Shiva. She also acted in one of the shows that was relayed on Podhigai channel. She has appeared in all parts of India. She was in a small role in the final scene in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon wanted Andrea to portray a lead character after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani who is a wife and mother with whom her husband has a love affair. Andrea was picked for the role because the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were approached. It came out in early 2010. In 2011 she agreed to be a minor role that was released early in the year. Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which was released in August of 2011. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
