McCord, who is best known for vixen type roles has gained a lot of attention after 2007 when she appeared as the manipulative Eden Lord of the FX the TV show Nip/Tuck. Also, she starred as Loren Wakefield, the lavish Loren on the MyNetworkTV Telenovela American Heiress. McCord is most well recognized for her portrayal of the dark and sexy vampire in roles that are more sinister on FX the Nip/Tuck TV series, first came to fame as Eden Lord. McCord also starred in The CW's 90210, the The TNT's Dallas Stalker and CBS FOX's Jerry Bruckheimer's pilot Lucifer. McCord is currently starring on ABC's Secret's and Lies. She was widely praised by critics for her portrayal of a delusional and disturbed teenager in the film Excision (2012). In 2012, McCord was named Best Actress for her role as a disturbed and deluded teenage girl in the film Excision. McCord's film 68 Kill, which was made in 2012, won the Audience Award during SXSW. The performance of McCord was praised as being fierce and powerful. McCord appears as the lead on POPTV's show Let's Be Physical along with Jane Seymour of Breaking Bad fame as well as Matt Jones.
