Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. Her native country is Canada. The actress has appeared in many movies in Hollywood. She is mainly known for playing the character Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek started in 2015 and ended in the year 2020. Her character got praise from critics and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. She is the child of two educators. Elmwood School was her first option in Ottawa and where she took part in various stage performances. After that, she attended Concordia University, where her diploma was in theatre performance. To further her education in acting the art of acting, she took classes at Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. After turning 22, she moved to Los Angeles where acting became her occupation. Annie Murphy launched her acting career in 2007 with the crime thriller telefilm Lethal Obsession. Annie Murphy went on to appear in small and additional roles in several movies.
