Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. They run a range of companies that are related to gymnastics including Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is also involved with a range of charitable organizations as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. Comaneci has continued to support a variety of charities in Romania and beyond, such as that of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
