Mischa Barton was born on on January 24, 1986, in Hammersmith, England. In the television show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared in The Sixth Sense a suspense film. The O.C. The O.C. was one of the most watched TV series. The O.C., a hugely popular TV series in which she was a star. with Benjamin McKenzie who played her romantic interest. Barton was in a relationship with Benjamin McKenzie as the role of her love lover. The first time Barton appeared on television was in 1994, when she played the role of a young Corvina Lang in flashbacks on the soap opera All My Children. She replaced Michelle Trachtenberg, who had been playing Lily Benton Montgomery in the series. Katie Singer appeared in eight episodes as Jessie Sammler's, Evan Rachel Wood's lover on The Once and Again television show. She made her debut on film, appearing on screen in Lost and Delirious by Susan Swan. The film received mixed reviews, but the performances of Barton along with her co-stars Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare were greatly praised. Julie Johnson (2001), with Lili Tayet and Courtney Love, saw her portraying the role of a daughter who is in a relationship with a lesbian woman. Barton played a secondary role with Brad Renfro, Dominique Swain and Brad Renfro in Tart (2001) the independent film for teens. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. In Romania she was hailed as a hero. Comaneci added two more medals in gold to her nine total at the Olympics four years later. In 1996, Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame as well as in 1999 was recognized with a special award from ABC News and Ladies Home Journal as one of the 100 most Important Women of the 20th Century. Comaneci was got married with American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April 1996. They have one son, Dylan Paul. They run a range of companies that are related to gymnastics such as Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci serves as an executive board member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In addition, she continues to support dozens of charities within her home country of Romania including the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
